1. Dylan Sprouse

Dylan Sprouse and his brother Cole were on the Disney Show, “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” from 2005 to 2008, along with 3 more years of spin-off shows and movies. Before that the twins played the son of Ross Geller on “Friends” and co-starred in “Big Daddy” with Adam Sandler. So when Dylan Sprouse was spotted working as a host at a New York City restaurant, the public went nuts. He wasn’t working at the restaurant because he was broke, but instead he wanted to fund his video game addiction.


2. Sasha Obama

Former President Barack Obama was well known for keeping his daughters, Sasha and Malia, grounded and not letting fame or fortune get to their heads. In August 2016, 15 year old Sasha joined the ranks of other teenagers working a summer job and was spotted working at Nancy’s Seafood Restaurant at Martha’s Vineyard. Because she was still one of the first daughters at the time, armed guards hung out while Sasha bussed tables, manned the tak eout window, and did prep work.


3. Peter Ostrum

Peter Ostra, starred Charlie in “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” alongside Gene Wilder in 1971, and the movie was its overnight legend. Wilder continued to work, but that movie would be Ostrum’s only film role. He became a veterinarian. For a long time, ostrum initially denied it was him in the movie at all and even said it was his brother. But, he eventually owned up to his iconic role.


4. Hallie Eisenberg

Chances are, you can still recognize Hallie Eisenberg today because she still has her adorable dimples. She was known as the Pepsi girl and starred in numerous movies. She was a child star to be reckoned with, and Jesse Eisenberg is her older brother. As with many child stars, as she got older roles dwindled, so she stepped away from Hollywood to do one of the most normal things a person could do, go to college.


5. Josh Saviano

Josh Saviano was famous for playing Paul, Kevin Arnold’s best friend in the hit show, “The Wonder Years.” But that was really his only hit role and he didn’t get much work outside of “The Wonder Years.” Saviano went on to study political science at Yale University and became a lawyer, and he remains one to this day.


6. Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle blew us away with her rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. She had an amazing voice, and didn’t fit the traditional stereotype of a celebrity singer. This made Boyle an instant hit, but that isn’t always a good thing. She had a hard transition to fame, and eventually, she willingly stepped back from the limelight. In 2014, the world was shocked to find that she had taken a job at a simple betting shop as a way to become normal again. Boyle makes appearances every now and then, but overall she is trying to go back to the normal life she once knew.


7. Mike Maronna

Mike Maronna had played big Pete in “The Adventures of Pete and Pete” had a few other roles in movies like “Home Alone” and shows like “Law & Order.” But he seemed to have segued into the electrical side of the business. He is currently working as a best boy electrician on the show, “shades of Blue” and doesn’t get in front of camera much anymore. He and his little Pete co-star Danny Tamberelli do a podcast together called, “The Adventures of Danny and Mike.”


8. Ariana Richards

Ariana Richards played Lex Murphy in the first “Jurassic Park” movie and when the latest “Jurassic World” movie was released, people wondered what the actress was doing these days. Richard’s ended up making a bit of a name for herself in the art world as an artist. She travels around the world promoting her paintings and trying to promote herself on a regular basis. In 2013, she married Mark Bolton and recently had a baby.


9. Jess Cohen

Jeff Cohen acted best as Chunk in the iconic movie “The Goonies.” While he may not be shaking his stomach or appearing on camera anymore, he hasn’t left Hollywood. In 2000, he graduated from the UCLA School of Law and became an attorney. In 2002, he started his own entertainment law firm called Cohen Gardner LLP.


10. Mackenzie Rosman

Who can forget little Mackenzie Rosman, the adorable cast member who played Ruthie Camden in the hit show, “7th Heaven.” Well she is all grown up now, and she made an attempt to shed her innocent image with some very grown-up photos. However, her time in the limelight has seemed to fizzle out a bit. Today, Rosman describes herself as an actress and a photographer, and has been doing some charity work in the nonprofit sector, working with groups like Childhelp Organizations, Cystic Fibrosis and Cure Finders.
